At Forest First Tutoring, we believe every child deserves to feel happy, confident and successful in their learning.
Some children need a little extra help with Maths or English. Others are preparing for their 11+ or GCSE examinations. Some have additional needs or have found that school is no longer the right environment for them.
Whatever brings a family to us, we take the time to listen, understand and find the right support.
Our wonderful team of experienced teachers, specialist tutors and teaching assistants works with children and young people across the area. With our Learning Centre in Plaitford near Romsey, local teaching venues, school support, home tuition and online lessons, we offer a range of ways for children to learn and grow in confidence.

Personalised Learning for all Children
We offer dedicated support for Hampshire pupils who are not currently in school, helping them to develop essential learning and personal social skills.
Our comprehensive courses cover every aspect of the 11+ curriculum, tailored to help students excel in their exams. Many of our pupils aim for places at Bishop Wordsworth’s Grammar School and South Wilts Grammar School in Salisbury.
Children benefit from focused support and challenge in small groups and individually, led by experienced staff who make learning both enjoyable and effective. Our approach ensures every child feels confident and engaged.
Our highly experienced specialist teacher provides expert Dyslexia support in small groups or one-to-one sessions. Lessons are available at the teacher’s home or in local schools, ensuring flexible and accessible learning for every student.
